Zahid Bashir, MD

Zahid brings over 15 years’ clinical and drug development experience to Bantam.
Zahid is recognised for his success in planning, leading and executing drug development programmes for pharma and biotech companies including Roche, GSK, Kite Pharma, BMS and AstraZeneca. He has gained extensive experience throughout all phases of clinical development and successfully brought multiple novel drugs including cell and gene therapy products to regulatory approval in the US and Europe. In 2015 Zahid co-founded Omniac Pharm Consult Ltd. to provide a select suite of clinical development and medical affairs services to pharma and biotech companies.
Zahid completed his medical school training at the University of Punjab, Pakistan followed by internal medicine and oncology training in the National Health Services. He also holds a Masters in Clinical Oncology from the University of Birmingham and speciality training in Pharmaceutical Medicine.
